Ligitation
We advise you in out-of-court conflict situations and represent you before state courts, private conciliation bodies or international arbitration tribunals – with commitment and experience – because litigation is one of our firm’s core competencies. We focus on complex proceedings, from liability litigation to corporate disputes and difficult evidentiary proceedings.
Litigation is one of our firm’s core competencies.
Conflict Consulting / Dispute Resolution
Fast and efficient conflict resolution saves time and money. We advise on out-of-court disputes and in mediation and arbitration proceedings – strategically and goal-oriented. In doing so, we benefit from our many years of experience. We clarify the facts as well as possible misunderstandings and evaluate them legally, analyze the chances and risks and work out possible solutions in the interest of our clients.
Ligitation
Litigation is an area of expertise in itself. In addition to a sound knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure and procedural tactics, a good grasp of complex, often technical issues is indispensable. And then there is another skill that can only be learned to a limited extent: assertiveness. Our litigation attorneys have these prerequisites and represent our clients with dedication before state courts, private conciliation boards and international arbitration tribunals.
Evidentiary proceedings
Examining witnesses, hearing expert witnesses, or reviewing and evaluating expert opinions require not only a sound knowledge of the rules governing the burden of proof, but regularly also in-depth technical understanding and psychological intuition. We love these challenges and enjoy conducting complex litigation, from the preservation of evidence in independent evidentiary proceedings to expert witness disputes.
Arbitration
The procedural rules of private arbitration courts and conciliation boards can – depending on their location – be determined to a large extent freely and therefore deviate considerably from the state code of civil procedure. Usually, however, arbitration courts submit to arbitration rules established by an interest group (DIS, ICC, LCIA, ICAC, Vienna Rules). We are familiar with these arbitration rules and represent you before arbitration courts internationally.
