SLB LAW advises BasicNet on the acquisition of Woolrich Europe

Munich, 22 January 2026 – Munich-based law firm SLB LAW provided comprehensive legal advice to the BasicNet Group in its acquisition of Woolrich Europe S.p.A. with a transaction volume of around €90 million.

SLB LAW advised the BasicNet Group on the indirect acquisition of Woolrich Germany GmbH, a subsidiary of Woolrich Europe S.p.A. In particular, the law firm conducted the legal due diligence of the German subsidiary at the interface with Italian law and advised on antitrust issues.

In cooperation with the Italian law firm Pavesio e Associati, which acted as lead counsel on the transaction, SLB LAW’s Italian Desk also assisted in the coordination of the legal due diligence carried out by Sagiure Legal relating to the indirect acquisition of the Dutch subsidiary.

As part of the transaction, BasicNet acquired the rights to the US brand Woolrich for Europe and purchased 100% of the shares in Woolrich Europe S.p.A.
